Altea is a village on the Spanish Costa Blanca in the province of Alicante at about 50 kilometers from the city of Alicante and 100 kilometers south of the city of Valencia. Alicante airport is 45 minutes drive from Altea. Altea is located nearby Calpe and just 15 kilometres north of Benidorm. Other villages nearby are Polop, La Nucia, Albir Callosa d’En Sarria and Alfaz del Pi. Altea is built on a hill and has over 22,000 inhabitants. Altea is a great place to visit on the Costa Blanca. It has retained it’s beauty and charm of a Spanish fishing village.
